Yuva Shakti Yojana Status 2026: Announced vs Actually Open

Announced (confirmed)
- 22 June 2026: scheme announced in the West Bengal Budget 2026-27, to be implemented from October 2026 as Bhorsha Karmasuchi.
- Benefit: ₹3,000/month for eligible unemployed graduates; ₹2,000/month for other eligible unemployed youth, via DBT.
- Replaces: the Banglar Yuva Sathi Scheme (₹1,500/month, launched February 2026).
- Official portal: Banglar Yuva Shakti portal (yubasathi.wb.gov.in) has been activated.
Not open yet
- Registrations: not started. Detailed operational guidelines are awaited.
- Jan Kalyan Shivir camps: registration for this scheme is not available there — camps cover schemes that are already operational.
- Eligibility fine print: exact criteria (age limits, education requirements, income conditions) have not been published yet.
