What the scheme is
The Yuva Shakti Yojana (also called the Yuva Shakti Bharosa Card scheme) is West Bengal's announced unemployment assistance programme for the state's youth. It began as a BJP election promise in the 2026 Assembly elections — monthly support for unemployed youth — and was formally announced in the West Bengal Budget 2026-27 on 22 June 2026, with implementation planned from October 2026 under the name Bhorsha Karmasuchi.
What has been announced
- ₹3,000 per month for eligible unemployed graduates
- ₹2,000 per month for other eligible unemployed youth
- Support meant to cover daily expenses while job seekers prepare for competitive exams, skill development, and vocational training
- It will replace the Banglar Yuva Sathi Scheme (₹1,500/month), launched by the previous government in February 2026
- Benefits via Direct Benefit Transfer to bank accounts
What is NOT open yet
As of now: the official Banglar Yuva Shakti portal (yubasathi.wb.gov.in) has been activated, but detailed operational guidelines are still awaited. Registration is not being conducted — not online, and not through Jan Kalyan Shivir camps either. Anyone telling you to "apply now" on a private website is misleading you. Every new welfare scheme spawns fake "apply online" sites that harvest Aadhaar numbers, bank details, and OTPs. The rules are simple: never enter personal documents on a non-government website, never pay a "registration fee" (real schemes do not charge), and verify everything against the official portal. घोषणा क्या है?
पश्चिम बंगाल बजट 2026-27 (22 जून 2026) में घोषित — बेरोजगार स्नातकों को ₹3,000/माह, अन्य पात्र बेरोजगार युवाओं को ₹2,000/माह। अक्टूबर 2026 से भोरषा कर्मसूची के नाम से लागू होगी। आधिकारिक पोर्टल (yubasathi.wb.gov.in) सक्रिय है, लेकिन विस्तृत दिशा-निर्देश अभी बाकी हैं।
सावधान रहें
